About Valcucine
Valcucine has revolutionised the kitchen space with numerous ground-breaking solutions. The company has earned a reputation for its dedication to improving the ergonomics and the use of space.
Ergonomics
- The innovative and ergonomic New Logica system has been an industry standard since its presentation in 1996. Its total depth is 96 cm, 36 cm of which are equipped for easy dish drying, storage of small kitchen appliances, knives and other accessories.
- A well thought-out kitchen layout streamlines the cooking process and eliminates unnecessary movements. We recommend arranging storage, washing and cooking areas in a triangle, where the sum of all three legs of the triangle is no more than 6.5 m. Ideally, functional areas are separated by countertops.
- The height of the kitchen cabinets and countertop can be adjusted to people of different heights to make the kitchen more comfortable.
For floor cabinets, VALCUCINE recommends the use of drawers that are more convenient and transparent than shelves with doors. - VALCUCINE offers partition walls with doors that lift to provide quick access to or hide accessories behind the panel. The doors, unlike traditional cabinet double doors, do not occupy space above the working area, preventing the risk of injuries and saving time.
Facades
- Glass facades: VALCUCINE's 1988 invention made it possible to hide the aluminium frame of the kitchen behind glass. From 2008 VALCUCINE has offered a highly durable, carbon-molecule-coated glass surface with unprecedented resistance to scratches and severe impacts.
VALCUCINE promises durability with a 15-year warranty, unlike other manufacturers in the glass industry.
Glass facades and surfaces come in a wide selection of shades, both matte and gloss. - Multi Line facades: A lightweight, yet geometrically durable construction with very high mechanical durability. It is made of “pure” (not bonded) 2-mm laminate panels on an aluminium profiled carcass. Dematerialisation is the guiding concept behind the design: minimal consumption of energy and natural resources.
A wide range of laminate finishes and shades are available. - Wooden facades: Minimalism can be cosy with natural wood surfaces and relief.
VALCUCINE uses a high-tech aluminium carcass for facades, carbon-fibre finishing for drawers and glass cabinets.
To prevent colour distortions to wood created by light, tests have been conducted and special coatings are used. - Stainless steel and aluminium finishes: Stainless steel and aluminium are increasingly used in kitchen facades and surfaces due to their easy maintenance, durability and longevity. Visually, these materials lend the impression of a professional kitchen. VALCUCINE has created a varnish that protects against the marks left by fingerprints, the main problem for metal surfaces. Treated with varnish, the surface can be cleaned less often and will be stain-resistant.
- Vitrum Arte facades: Architects and interior designers are invited to create original drawings and graphics for kitchen glass facades. VALCUCINE's innovation makes it possible to create an individual design by inlaying them in glass facades, decorative panels and countertops.
Frames
- VALCUCINE offers three types of carcass materials.
A melamine-coated waterproof chipboard with very low formaldehyde content (F**** class by Japanese classification, a stricter and therefore better standard than those of the EU) makes this structure healthier and more environmentally friendly than standard chipboard. - High-class laminated birch wood plywood sheets with High Pressure Laminate (HPL) coating, guaranteeing higher durability than chipboard and better scratch resistance. Sheets are grinded and treated with natural oils.
- Innovative glass and aluminium carcasses with only mechanical joints only and without glues. Compared to chipboard and plywood, these carcasses are 100% water resistant, and have higher mechanical durability and slimmer walls, thus ensuring higher capacity. Built-in lighting provides additional convenience and appeal.
Constructions can be disassemble and reused or recycled with minimal impact on the environment. - Drawer carcasses have two options: a glass or aluminium base surrounded by aluminium sides with or without carbon coating. Facades of doors and drawers are secured by a solid aluminium carcass, reducing the weight and thickness of the facade to 5 or even 2 mm, greatly extending the life of the hinges and guide rails.
